According to You
So this song According to You, by Orianthi just doesn’t make any sense to me whatsoever. Actually, I take that back, it does, the thing that catches me off guard is it really isn’t hitting in the direction I’m guessing she was hoping. She seems to be telling him she doesn’t care that he doesn’t care, but really she does.
If I was the guy she wrote this song for this is what I would have noticed
1. She wrote me a song and not him, he is just the one getting used to show me what I’m missing
2. Obviously she misses me, and likes me better than him
3. This line really sums it up for me ‘Why can’t you see me through his eyes?’ = I’m attracted to you, and you should be a little more like this guy so I can ditch this guy and get back to being with you.
4. She started and ended the song about how I saw her, not how he saw her.
Okay, I’ll stop making fun of your boots, that better?
